• ARC permit applied for, and run under ARC rules.
  • Positions for prizes will be based on chip time from start to finish.  Prize winners for all categories except for the under 13s will be awarded to competitors in the Red Start.  Competitors in the Blue Start who run a faster time than competitors in the Red Start are not eligable for their prize.
  • For the safety and enjoyment of all, a maximum of 1000 entries will be accepted.
  • Entries will be taken from 1st April.
  • Both online entries and postal entries will close at midnight on the 21st June. Entries will be taken at the Anchor Inn from Monday 23rd June to Friday 27th June. Entries on the day will open at 9.00am and close at 10.30am. Entries will be accepted on a first to register, first to run basis.
  • If your entry is accepted, your entry fee is not refundable.
  • There will be a charge made for replacement bib and chip if these are lost or you forget to bring them on the day.
  • Your official Oldbury Fun Run number bib will act as your receipt and will only be issued after acceptance of your completed entry and payment.
  • Race number bibs and sponsor forms and your event information pack will be dispatched from mid-April.
  • JUNIOR (under 13s) ON-LINE APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED BY AN ADULT. IN DOING SO, THAT ADULT ACCEPTS FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR PAYMENT OF THE ENTRY.
  • If you are entering the Under 13 Fun Run, you must be accompanied by an adult during the run. The adult also must register in the same category.
  • Oldbury Fun Run Committee is not responsible for applications lost in the post and proof of posting is not proof of receipt.
  • You enter the Oldbury Fun Run entirely at your own risk and the organisers will not be held responsible for any injuries sustained by you or for any property lost before, during or after the event.
  • You confirm that you are medically fit to participate in the 4 mile event.
  • You confirm that you are taking part at your own risk and the promoters or any persons involved in the organisation of the event are not responsible for your well-being.
  • You agree to support and pay all sponsor money raised by you to the Oldbury Fun Run only.
  • On safety grounds, all Under 13 entrants – without exception – must assemble and start from the Blue Start at 11.10am. Any Under 13s course time which indicates they have started in the Red Start, may have their course time removed from the official results published on the Fun Run web site. Adults who accompany Under 13s must assemble and start with them in the Blue Start.
  • Dogs or pets are allowed on the Fun Run course, but only at the back of the start.
  • No bicycles, tricycles or skateboards are allowed on the course.
  • All participants and spectators may be filmed, photographed or recorded for broadcast, security, health and safety purposes.
  • Postal/Online entries will not be accpeted after the 21st June.
  • You confirm that you have no objection to your details being held on computer by the committee for the organisation of the event and notification of future events and for sharing with CLIC Sargent.
